Needs significant improvement: there’s smelly backwater next to the tent sites, only one bathroom for the whole campground, a good 10 minute walk away.
The shower curtain should definitely be cleaned, and the stalls offer no privacy: they don’t have a lock, and they’re very short.
It’s sad because the owners were lovely, and not a lot needs to be done to significantly improve the place.
This is a great family campground with close access to a lot of fantastic outdoor activities. The sites are a good size and most will fit a good size vehicle. I had an issue with my vehicle, stranding me at the site for an extra day while I waited for a mechanic. The managers Paula and Sam were so very nice and accommodating while I waited to get back on the road. I'll definitely be back to stay again!
I didn’t review the rooms because we stayed in a tent. This is a beautiful place! Clean, quiet and friendly! Paula and Preston work in the office and are both super nice and very willing to go above and beyond! The lake and camp site were clean. We even rented a boat. There are spots for fishing, a playground, fire pits at the sites, clean shower rooms. This was our second time here and we will be back again. 😁
We stayed for a weekend in June and were very impressed with the cleanliness and loved our site (Y3, 27’ TT)! Staff was friendly and helpful and even though the campground was nearly full, it was quiet and we enjoyed everything about our stay! Beach was very nice and lots of options close by for shopping and dining in case of any last minute needs. Definitely recommend!
Great campground. Seriously. Friendly staff, cheap prices in the store which was an awesome surprise. My only complaint, is they won't let tent sites stay longer than 2 weeks ,or even return later in the season I guess for another couple weeks. This was seriously disappointing, we really like it here and thought were had reserved our full summer online, only to be called and told that it was a glitch and no we can only give you 2 weeks . It's a mad scramble now to plan rest of summer good places fill so fast....
Took my wife and almost 2yr old here for a weekend. Baby loved the open area. Wife and I loved the fresh air. Would come back again. We had site F2. If it were me I'd cut down the dead tree that eats up the entry to the site so a car can squeeze in.
This was our second year camping here and we all love it. They offer laundry and showers. The playground has a pirate ship that I do think needs some love because there was giant spiders and for a kid like mine who has bad reactions to bug bites but loves to play thats no good. The lake u can swim at is nice. They have a DJ on Saturdays who plays great music. The majority of this place is RVs and seasoned campers who rent a space and use this as their vacation spot. Most of the RV campers are friendly. Lots of kids. There's a basketball court which holds a Cornhole tournament which I thot was cool my husband loves the fishing here. They do have a store at the main office where u can get anything from bread to water guns although I don't recommend the water toys because they are cheap and break very easy. The prices are fair. Honestly I believe we found our forever campsite.
The absolute best wifi I have ever experienced at any campground. Large sites, no sardines. Nice lake. Friendly people.
